Biography
Ms. Sarah-Elizabeth Dixon is a partner at Cardinal Law, having obtained her Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Law School in 2019 and was subsequently called to the Bar on December 10th of the same year.
Sarah-Elizabeth is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, where she earned her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2017. During her tenure at the University, she served on several governing boards and received an award from the University of the West Indies for her outstanding contribution to leadership within the university community.
While enrolled at the Norman Manley Law School, Sarah-Elizabeth was appointed Judicial Assistant to the Honourable Ms. Justice A. Lindo, a Judge of the Supreme Court of Jamaica.
Having had the pleasure of interning at esteemed firms such as Myers Fletcher & Gordon and Chambers, Bunny & Steer, Sarah-Elizabeth was later promoted to the position of Associate at Chambers, Bunny and Steer in January 2020.
While at Chambers, Bunny & Steer, Sarah-Elizabeth refined her expertise as a niche practioner in Family Law, Estate Law, and Real Property Law. She also represented clients as counsel in highly contentious cases before the Parish Courts, Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal in Jamaica.
Sarah-Elizabeth later joined the Chambers of the Attorney-General of Jamaica in 2022 where she had conduct of countless matters concerning Estates, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Occupier’s Liability and Personal Injury Claims, gaining a wealth of knowledge and commendation during her tenure.
Sarah-Elizabeth was recognized as a contributor to literary works published by the Caribbean Court of Justice Academy for Law. Additionally, she served as a Junior Councillor for the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation and appeared as a panelist on the ‘Talk Up Youth Jamaica’ television program.
